Eating Too Much Sugar

Are you eating too much sugar? If you regularly drink pop, sports drinks, fruit drinks, energy drinks or eat cakes, cookies, muffins, doughnuts or ice cream then you may be eating too much sugar.

It has been reported that North Americans consume at least 15 teaspoons of added sugar every day.  That adds up to about 240 empty calories!

If you want to lose weight then cutting out sugar might just help. In a four year study, they found weight gain of 10 pounds occurred in women who went from drinking only one sugar-sweetened drink a week to least one a day!
